Playrooms Broom Guide: Getting Balls to the Waiting Room Vent

Find out why the Waiting Room suction point needs a broom, what the developer confirms, and which demo limitations remain unresolved.

How do you get balls into the Waiting Room suction point?

Use the broom. In response to a player asking how to get balls to the Waiting Room suction point, Two Pixels UG said the broom was intended for that job. The player then reported that they had forgotten to check the shop and buy it.

This is unusually useful confirmation because it identifies the missing tool, not just a general instruction to keep collecting. If you are trying to solve the whole room using hand collection, check the shop before assuming the vent is broken.

Developer reply and the player’s follow-up.

What should you do before another sweeping shift?

Check the shop for the broom, read its current description, then use it to move floor balls toward the suction point. This is the developer-confirmed purpose of the tool. We have not verified an exact purchase price, a fastest path through the room or a universal tool-selection key.

A useful task order is:

  1. Confirm that you have actually acquired the broom.
  2. Select it using the current build’s visible equipment prompt.
  3. Locate the room’s suction point before pushing a distant pile.
  4. Sweep toward that destination rather than carrying the same balls back and forth by hand.

The final two points are route-planning suggestions, not a measured optimal route. See controls and depositing for the separate pool interaction.

Why can progress feel slower in the Waiting Room?

The developers acknowledged that Waiting Room progression slows compared with the early upgrades. That response followed a detailed demo report about money, broom work and carrying capacity. It confirms that the pacing complaint reached the developers; it does not establish an undiscovered bonus or a fixed income rate.

Developer economy response, October 20.

Compare what your next upgrade actually changes before spending. No income multiplier, passive-income method or required purchase order has been verified for this guide.

Does the full-version optimization fix the demo broom?

The developer said they tried to improve the broom for the full version and explained that stronger physics interactions can produce performance problems. That is a statement about development and a different version, not proof that every demo broom issue has already been patched.

Developer explanation, October 27.

If balls disappear below the floor or you become trapped at a doorway, use the known collision issues guide. Keep bug symptoms separate from ordinary slow sweeping.

Checked November 2, 2026; no hands-on speed or economy benchmark is claimed.
