Playrooms Stuck in Scenery or Missing Balls: Known Demo Collision Issues
Separate acknowledged Playrooms demo collision bugs from movement unlocks, and check what the developers have fixed versus only proposed.
Is getting trapped always a missing crouch or jump upgrade?
No. There are documented collision reports as well as movement unlocks. A player became stuck between the office monitor and the light above it; the developer acknowledged that spot and said it would be fixed. Another reply acknowledges trouble getting back out of a ball pit.

Check sprint and crouch permissions if the action has never worked. A specific trap in scenery is a separate issue; repeatedly rebinding movement does not establish a fix.
Did the doorway patch resolve every collision issue?
That is not established. The October 20 update reports a fix for closing a portal door while standing in it. A later player thread describes falling through the ground at a Waiting Room doorway during the lighting shutdown. The later report means the earlier fix should not be advertised as universal.

Install available updates and describe the exact doorway and trigger when reporting a recurrence. Keep scheduled lights-out, a freeze and falling through a floor separate in that description.
Is there an emergency reset or unstuck button?
No shipped universal button is verified in these sources. The developer said an unstuck button was worth considering after the monitor report. In a separate discussion about balls below the poolroom floor, they described a possible emergency ball-position reset if the issue persisted. Neither statement proves that the current demo offers it.

Do not spend time looking for a menu option presented elsewhere as already available without checking the current build. No teleport command or save-file edit is verified here.
What can you do without making the situation worse?
Record the location and what immediately preceded the trap. If you choose to reload, check the selected save and recognize that the amount of recoverable progress depends on what was saved. The original monitor-report player reloaded, but this site has not tested a universal progress-preserving recovery method.
Do not recommend getting caught as a reset: Hardcore capture deletes the save. Do not overwrite a run while testing another one; see save slots.
For loose balls that merely need moving toward a suction point, use the broom guide. That intended collection task is different from balls trapped below geometry.
Checked November 2, 2026. Proposed fixes and player reports remain labelled as such.
